Welcome to Tuck Inn Healesville — or as we like to say, we’re the Tuckeroos!

We wanted to introduce ourselves and put a friendly face behind our boutique Healesville accommodation.

We’re Ozzie and Donia, along with our daughter Maalika. After moving to Australia in 2006, we dreamed of running our own hospitality business — inspired by close friends who owned a B&B back in the UK. That dream came true in 2011 when we took over Tuck Inn, located right in the heart of Healesville in Victoria’s Yarra Valley.

In 2020, we completely transformed the original B&B, rebuilding it from the ground up into four luxurious, self-contained, adults-only apartments. Each offers a unique blend of modern comfort and heritage charm. With the main street just a one-minute stroll away, guests are spoilt for choice with cafés, breakfast spots, and local shops.

You’ll also find plenty of ways to enjoy the beautiful outdoors — from Healesville’s parks, trails, and picnic areas to your own alfresco moments at the Tree Top Retreat Apartment, which features a private outdoor space nestled among the trees.

Running a boutique accommodation in the Yarra Valley is such a pleasure. It allows us to meet travellers from all over and help them unwind in one of Victoria’s most beautiful regions. Ozzie loves mountain biking and exploring the local Healesville trails, while Donia (and Ozzie!) enjoy visiting nearby Yarra Valley wineries, breweries, and distilleries — including the famous Four Pillars Gin.

We’ve been lucky to call this stunning area home since becoming a family of three in 2012. It’s an extraordinary place to live, work, and raise a child — and we can’t wait to welcome you to Healesville, the Yarra Valley, and all that our region has to offer.
